Education resources include a 15-minute video, discussion questions, and a 16-page activity resource book. This program can be used in all states. Funding for the program came from the Charles County MD Charitable Trust, the Maryland Veterans Museum, and a National Park Service pass-through grant.

Lesson Plans for the Revolutionary War Era -- 2021-12-01

The American Revolution Institute of the Society of the Cincinnati is an advocacy organization dedicated to promoting understanding and appreciation of the American Revolution and its legacy.

Each year the Institute gathers some of the best history teachers in the nation for a week-long Master Teachers Seminar focused on the most important themes to teach young Americans. Each master teacher spends part of the week creating a model lesson plan using the Institute’s collection of primary source materials.

The best of these lessons are now available online along with images of artifacts and documents useful in teaching those lessons --
