2009 - LEGISLATION ENACTED !

On Monday, March 30, 2009, U.S. President Barack Obama signed into law the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (Public Law 111-11). Section 5204 of this law designated the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route as a National Historic Trail. Soon after that the W3R®-PA designed and made available for sites along the route banners to proclaim and mark the new trail.
