After General Washington finished his conference in Wethersfeld CT
with General Rochambeau he went to nearby Lebanon CT
to review the hussars (light cavalry) of Lauzun's Legion.
When not engaged in training and battles the hussars
provided courier service between the French and U.S. forces.
