Mount Vernon 

Mount Vernon was the home of General George Washington when he visited for the first time in five years in 1781 when he invited General Rochambeau and other senior U.S. and French officers to stay for several days to plan the investment of Yorktown.

Colonial National Park 

Colonial National Park [NPS] includes Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown VA (the southern terminus for the W3R). The Yorktown Visitors Center includes information about the French Expeditionary Force under Gen. Rochambeau and might be expanded to include and the interaction between American and French officers during the two and a half years that the French Army was in the United States..
