2012 - ANNUAL EVENTS

The Joy Homestead in Cranston Rhode Island started an annual "Strawberry Biscuit Tea" to commemorate the seasonal berries enjoyed by the French Army as it marched by this farm in 1781.
This historic home also serves as a friendly spot for re-enactors to drop by for dinner. Here the members of America's March to Yorktown stopped to drop off a route marker with the new National Park Service logo for the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Historic Trail.
